Following these simple steps will help you to keep you 100 Red Roses looking fresh for longer. It isn’t unusual for cut roses to last up to 4 weeks looking great.
  • Store roses in a cool place if you cannot put the in the water immediately.
  • Place flowers in a clean vase filled with lukewarm water. Water shouldn't be colder than the room temperature. Tepid water will be absorbed quicker by the stems.
  • Add the flower food provided with your flowers. This will help to nourish the Roses as well as keep the water free of algae and other bacteria.
  • Make sure any foliage below the water line is removed to help to keep the water clean and rot free.
  • Cut roughly an inch of the stem in an angle using a sharp knife and place in a water immediately after cutting. Always use sharp knife as scissors will crash the stems.
  • Ideally water should be replaced every day if possible while the stems should be re-cut at least every second day. Make sure vase is clean and free of leaves to avoid bacteria build up.
  • Fresh Roses and other flowers should be kept in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight, heat source and air conditioning.
