• Our flowers are bought directly from auction houses in Holland as well as from Colombian Farms and UK growers. Our flowers are often picked, auctioned and delivered the same day to be dispatched to our customers as fresh as possible.
  
  
• All our flowers are stored in a chilled room and are cut, prepared and arranged in bouquets by our team of professional florists.
  
  
• Florela flowers are dispatched in specially designed delivery boxes made from robust recycled materials that separate the bouquets from any other items in the box. Our flowers are carefully wrapped but also secured in the centre of the box to minimise contact with the box walls. This is to ensure that flowers will not get damaged in the transit.
  
  
• To ensure our Florela flowers have plenty of water while being transported the stems are wrapped in fleece like material soaked in flower food solution before being wrapped in film. This is a far better method than adding water to the parcel that often spills causing damage to the box, flowers and other items inside.

Flower Care

To keep you flowers fresh and to enjoy them as long as possible, please follow our advice on flower care. The following tips will achieve good results with ease.

1. Use a clean vase for your flowers

2. Diagonally cut off about an inch of the stems with sharp knife. Do not crush the stems.

3. Remove any lower leaves from the stems that may come in contact with the water.

4. Dissolve the flower food we gave you in the water in the vase. (check for correct dosage)

5. If water becomes cloudy, replace in its entirety with fresh, correctly mixed flower food solution if possible and re-cut the stems by removing about 1.5 inches with a sharp knife

6. Do not place flowers close to a heat source, direct sunshine or in a draught

With proper care your flowers will last 5-7 days or more, depending on the type of flowers.
